Spacex launches Dogecoin Paid DOGE-1 mission towards the moon

Spacex, the pioneering private space agency founded by Elon Musk, announced that it will launch the DOGE-1 mission to the moon, in partnership with Geometric Energy Corporation (GEC). The mission, which aimed to bring a commercial burden to the moon, was paid in full with Dogecoin, the crypto currency Musk himself made popular. DOGE-1 at The Moon Spacex, the innovative space exploration company that pioneered commercial space travel, and plans a planned trip to Mars today announced a new mission, DOGE-1, in partnership with renewable energy company Geometric Energy Corporation. According to a press release, the main goal of the mission will be to bring commercial cargo to the moon. But the peculiarity of this mission is that it is fully paid for Dogecoin, the memecoin that several influencers adopted after it was popularized by Spacex CEO Elon Musk. As the first commercial mission of its kind paid with a cryptocurrency, DOGE-1 sets a precedent for space-age payments and gives Dogecoin a very special place among other cryptocurrencies. Tom Ochinero, VP of Commercial Sales at Spacex, emphasized: This mission will demonstrate the application of the cryptocurrency beyond Earth orbit and lay the groundwork for interplanetary trade. We are excited to launch DOGE-1 on the Moon! The DOGE-1 load consists of a 40kg CubeSat providing month data with built-in sensors, and bank payment solutions wouldn't be too complicated to pay for the task. GEC CEO Samuel Reid made this point: After officially negotiating with DOGE for a deal of this size, Geometric Energy Corporation and Spacex consolidated DOGE as a unit of account for moon activities in the space sector, Musk Dogecoin with The Moon However, this news stands in stark contrast to what Dogecoin went through yesterday.
