Since 2015, portraits of ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin are being sold as NFT

On Tuesday, California-based photographer Matthew Bolder announced the sale of three NFT portraits of ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin. Rumer photographed Buterin four months after the launch of Ethereum in 2015.

The portraits, which were auctioned on the NFT marketplace Foundation page, show Buterin when his star began to rise.

The first NFT, which currently attracts a 1.65 ETH offer, is a snapshot of a young software developer looking to work in bed on his laptop. The other two shots are more typical – head kick and head kick against a dark background.

They were tasked with compiling a profile of 21-year-old Buterin from the Swiss edition Das Magazin. The expander Das Magazin 4 November 2015 advertised Buterin as the inventor of “a blockchain-based platform that could revolutionize the financial system”.

Hello and welcome! My name is Matthew Rumer and I’m a California photographer to share some background on these portraits of Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin (@VitalikButerin) that I’m going to post at the foundation (@Withfnd) this weekend. Tel – (1/10) pic.twitter.com/s3NvPxcjhf

Roamer tweeted: “We hired a lousy Airbnb to film and managed to do some good portraits. While I had no idea what the next few years would bring, I was excited to see our work on the cover.”

I was vaguely familiar with cryptography and didn’t pay much attention. We rented a lousy Airbnb to film it and managed to do some good portraits. Although I had no idea what the next few years would bring, I was pleased to see our work on the cover. @withfnd (3/10) pic.twitter.com/hnu96yvhıı

Das Magazin offered more than $ 750 Swiss francs for his work, which was more than $ 750 at the time. At the time, Ethereum cost a dollar. Trading at a price today
