Porsche auction design sketch as digital and physical NFT

The Porsche auction is available under the Porsche Digital Brand and in the startup-spin-off fanzone. The NFT will be auctioned from August 2 to 6 and includes a draft of the design by Peter Varga, Porsche’s director of exterior design.Dec. The auction is currently taking place in real time on Superrare, with an offer of just over 5 ETH at the time of writing. The winner of the auction takes home both the digital NFT and the physical sketch. Varga described the sketch as a combination of Thai Cross Turismo and historic 911 body style. “This combines the design language of our iconic sports car with the design language of the youngest representative in the model series,” Varga says. “Drawing a design sketch that was then sold online as a digital object was a completely new experience for me.”

Speaking of superrare, this sketch is described as the true identity of the Porsche brand – “the combination of timeless beauty with modern technology.”

This sketch is the first time Porsche has ventured into the NFT field with its latest fanzone development. In addition, the proceeds from this first NFT will be donated to Viva con agua, a nonprofit dedicated to providing access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene.Julianne Feinstein
