Enjin Completes 50,000 NFT Airdrop Distributed With Announced QR Code

Enjin, the maker of the ERC-1155 non-fungible token (NFT) standard, dropped 50,000 unique NFTs from the air as part of their "MyFirstNFT" marketing campaign. NFT's shows were distributed directly to community members, new users and other stakeholders contributing to the Enjin ecosystem. These tokens represent digital artworks distributed to an unlimited number of users interacting with digital ads and social media posts. Additional rewards were reserved for those who announced the campaign with the hashtag #MyFirstNFT. The Enjin parachute drop was aimed at promoting organic growth in the ecosystem by providing the fairest possible distribution. Therefore, the gamified rewards program is powered by QR codes that trigger NFT submissions when scanned by a user's Enjin wallet. Users who saw the digital ad first scanned the QR code with the Enjin Wallet app to get a free NFT on the JumpNet blockchain. Banners were distributed via pay-per-click ads and social media posts. Ads were served in pay-per-click format on channels like Reddit, Facebook, Instagram and of course Twitter. Using these easy-to-use tools to attract new users, 50,000 NFTs were requested within 48 hours, resulting in 38,000 new users on the app. Commenting on the results of the airdrop, Enjin CEO Maxim Blagov said, “Marketing campaigns are most effective when they communicate with the buyer, rather than ask. Traditionally, it was very expensive to physically distribute free items, while digital items require artificial friction to prevent abuse. NFTs and blockchain are revolutionary for the marketing industry: they combine the simplicity and low cost of digital campaigns with the use of physical marketing. For brands looking for new ways to reach their audiences, this is a big step forward. "Enjin is expanding his horizons for the future. The #MyFirstNFT campaign was part of an ongoing effort to promote Enji.
