Crypto Whale Suddenly Launches $ 878 Million Bitcoin – Here's Where Crypto Fortune Is Right Now

A very wealthy crypto wallet carried $ 878 billion of Bitcoin in a single transaction. According to Blockchain.com, just over 23,022 BTC was sent via wire transfer worth $ 877,598,640. The transaction fees were only 0.00109424 BTC, or about $ 42.00. At the time of the transaction, Bitcoin was traded at $ 38,120. Source: Blockchain.com The buyers of the Bitcoin transaction were two unknown addresses, one receiving 500 BTC and the other approximately 22,522 BTC. There is zero balance left in the sending wallet. The wallet that bought most of the BTC then started its own transaction and also sent a small amount of BTC to one wallet and a large amount to another wallet. The process went on several times, and at the time of writing this article most of the BTC is in this new wallet that otherwise never sends or receives crypto. Movements can be an exchange, an institution, or a person reorganizing funds. They can also represent a range of OTC transactions. None of the cryptos appear to go to crypto exchange addresses where BTC is known to be available for sale on the open market. According to Whale Alert, at least six major transfers have been recorded so far this week with over $ 100 million in Bitcoin. This includes 3,500 Bitcoin transfers and 3,000 Bitcoin reverse transfers from the Binance crypto exchange to cold storage company Xapo.
