Cardano, Alonzo successfully completed testnet hardfork, what next?

Cardano is participating in one of the most important milestones since its inception-the introduction of the Plutus smart contract platform. The global i / o system (IOG) announced via Twitter the successful introduction of hardfork for the Alonzo test network.

This update will allow Plutus to be integrated into the main network, as NewsBTC previously reported. Currently developer Cardano is testing Alonzo in the color code stages, the first of which was blue.

Yesterday, July 15, at around 19: 44 UTC, the test network switched to the Alonzo White node. “The new network is already happy to make blocks,”the IOG said.

Each stage has its own set of specific goals and objectives that must be met with the support of strike pool operators (SPOs) and other partners. IOG added:

Over the past week, we have built a new network and rolled out our new kit to help us approach smart contracts. Now the next phase of the journey begins.

At this stage, the company reported that SPOs would receive support from the Catalyst crew Project, an initiative to provide financial October support to the community to launch specific projects, as well as additional partners and pioneers of Plutus.

In the future, the testing network will be more open with the participation of the Cardano community. IOG will focus on:

We will be keeping a close eye on the new network for the next 24 hours as we continue the quality control work at the node tonight. Then tomorrow we will review all feedback/results and consider the necessary decisions. Expect some updates as we add features to Alonzo White.

Cardano Moves Towards A New Era With Alonso
The implementation of a simple smart contract for Tesnet AlonzoBlue Cardano, on his fourth leave of absence a month ago. Nigel Hemsley, head of distribution at IOG, said SPOs had successfully run test network nodes along with the pioneers.

According to the company’s roadmap, AlonzoBlue was designed for the first execution of the smart contract and the first deployment of Ada.
