American Express only offers SZA NFT to cardholders

Scarcity is one of the key elements that demands crypt October tokens (NFT) cryptocollectives so much, but American Express adds another layer of exclusivity to this: the credit card company releases NFTS that are only available to cardholders.

Amex UNSTAGED x SZA: the collection is a series of NFT digital collectibles, each inspired by a separate moment of special performance by neo soul and R&B singer SZA. Just as last month’s live concert was only for American Express attendees, only cardholders will be able to buy it.

Each NFT comes in a single edition with 14 different SZA collections created for the fall, each sold at a fixed price of $ 100. American Express issued 10 NFTS on Friday only to those attending the concert, with the rest open to all American Express cardholders today.

NFT Amex SZA is produced by Fanaply, which offers licensed NFTS from partners such as NASCAR, Death Row Records, comedian Trevor Noah and others. Fanaply mints are” eco-friendly ” NFTS that use a low-level 2 solution on top of Ethereum, which reduces gas costs and the volume of interaction with the proof-of-performance blockchain.

The unalterable icon acts as a certificate of ownership and can be associated with a variety of items, including video clips, animated GIFs, photos, tweets, and even original music compositions. The NFT Sunday market boomed earlier this year, with trading volume in the first half of 2021 at about $ 2.5 billion.

Popular musicians flocked to NFT as a way to generate October revenue, and artists such as Kings Of Leon, the Weekend, Snoop Dogg, Weezer and Grimes offered things like original artwork, exclusive versions of nft albums and unreleased music for fans. In some cases, the musicians ‘NFTS brought in $ 6 million for Grimes’ work and more than $ 2 million for the weekend.
