Alibaba’s NFT Sunday offers copyright to blockchain
Alibaba is a large company from China specializing in Internet services, technology and e-commerce solutions. Founded in 1999, the company soon grew into one of the largest in the world with $ 257 billion in assets under its wing. By 2021, Alibaba’s revenue was $ 21.8 billion, and the company had been dealing with cryptocurrencies and blockchain solutions for years.

The billion-dollar company launched the NFT Sunday this week, according to a report by the South China Morning Post (SCMP) on August 17. It is worth noting that the tech giant from Hangzhou also owns SCMP. The report states that the published NF influenced the so-called” new copyright blockchain ” and was administered by the copyright Committee of the Sichuan blockchain Association.

One of Alibaba’S NFT marketplace’s services is called” blockchain trading of digital copyrights and assets ” and allows any creator to transfer copyright material through the blockchain and sell rights (tokens). Copyrights are mostly tagged, and only the token holder actually owns the content according to the landing page of the alibaba NFT marketplace. SCMP reporter Josh Yeh reports that Alibaba’s NFT platform is” already listing a lot of products,” but they won’t see the auction until next month.
